At this point of time, if it has or has not been clear, this is blog post in accordance to my Critical Thinking assignment, Rejection Therapy, or as I have re-title it, Refusal Therapy, is a project in which students literary put themselves up for rejection in any form we desire. The point of the assignment, (at least on how I interpret it) isn't to escape rejection or to try to persuade acceptance but rather to prepare students for the real world of putting yourself out there to gain an opportunity and face the reality that the answer won't always be yes.
Personally, I'm very excited to get start with this project, when comes to putting myself out there. I'm a bit of an Adrenalin junkie in the sort that I really enjoy the opportunity to get out of line (in the non-rebellious way if that makes sense). In hope of simplifying things, I really enjoy doing theater. Of course I love being able to to bond with individuals over the of the weeks of rehearsals and practices but the real joy of it is performing in front t of hall full of strangers and becoming a completely different person for your on benefit. I find doing this, keeps me confident, keeps my speech impairment from becoming apparent and I also do i it in hopes in not becoming awkward.
Enough of that however, I'm ready to get this project underway and I hope the journey is in high quality!
